I'm amazed how many clueless people post in the automobile repair section, just to get 2 points.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to have %26quot;torque steer%26quot; in a front wheel drive car, because the engines are installed sideways. Take it to a shop that specializes in alignment; have them check your motor mounts, tie rod ends, ball joints, struts, upper %26amp; lower control arm bushings; etc. Make sure they also check the rear suspension. A worn bushing in a leaf spring or a rear control arm will also cause this.

This sounds to me like there's something wrong with your engine mountings, one snapped perhaps and since the engine would be moving about it would pull at the driveshafts and gear lever.

The most common mounting on a front wheel drive that fails is the rear one, the rubber block breaks it's glue and comes away from one of the metal plates. You can't fix it but it's not usually expensive or hard to replace. On many it's just a case of slackening the bolts and supporting/lifting the engine with a jack whilst you swap the mounting. I've seen others that run the timing belt through the engine mounting so that you have to remove the cam belt to do it. I can do it on a fiesta in about 5-10 minutes since there's nothing in the way.

Of course, check that your wheels are tight and the suspension/steering is secure in case the problem lies there.
You must be keeping the clutch pressed or there could be a wheel alignment/balancing problem. If after applying the brake the car move right or left it is a problem with brakes and brakes should be checked
You have worn/U/S suspension mountings or tie rod bushes causing front wheels to move back and forward...
If it only happens when you shift hard under full acceleration, it's probably a condition called %26quot;torque steer.%26quot; It happens on all front drive vehicles with unequal length axle shafts, and there is nothing you can do about it. I had a 1989 Ford probe Gt, and it was so bad, the car wanted to change lanes when you shifted from 2nd to 3rd. I hope this helps.
Torque steer in a Daewoo Matiz? Do me a favour.

Barring any serious accident damage that has been bodged in the past or something silly like a different sized tyre on one side it's most likely your lower suspension arm bushes, a binding left brake or your tracking is way out.
Have someone else drive it %26amp; see if the same thing happens: Not being silly or offensive, but many new drivers tend to 'twitch' the wheel as they change gear due to trying to co ordinate different motions with different arms.

It's free, and at least you'll get a second opinion.
Are you driving the car hard? All front wheel cars torque steer as on of the drive shafts is shorter than the other.

Still it would be a good idea to have the wheel alignment checked.

Ja.
the problem you have is you wishbone bushes are shot, these are your lower suspension, in most cases it would work out cheaper replacing the whole complete wishbones than trying to replace the bushes as most of them have to be pressed back in, go to a tyre place for a second opinion but i am 99% sure i am right hope this helps
I think your steering is a bit out. It just needs setting it can be done at a garage, not alot at all.
