Yes its not super easy but very do able... much easier than being carbed and going FI

why do you want to go backwards? it can be done but you will have a check engine light on.
Sure, just rip off the intake manifold, throw one on with a carb. Just need to work out the wiring and electronics, depending on how advanced the computer control system is it can be easy or a pain.
But it's always do-able.
