OK, I think I understand now... You need to get hold of a Cherished Number Transfer form, either from the Post Office or the DVLA website. Complete the form and send it with your V5, MoT certificate and the certificate of entitlement for the new number. The DVLA will send you a revised V5 document, MoT and tax disc.
