I have always been told to change my car every two years, because it loses value. Do you agree?
Should you change your car regularly?
They lose huge value as you drive off the car lot. Consider used to avoid initial loss and let someone else take the hit. Of course you are never sure of the exact history of what you are buying.
At the extreme..if you live in non salt areas, you can keep most American cars or more so trucks, going almost forever with maintenance.
Good Luck whatever you decide.

If you buy a new car and change it every 2 years you're going to lose a fortune in depreciation. A new car loses 10-20% of its value as soon as it drives of the dealer's forecourt. Probably the best bet is to buy a car 2-3 years old and either keep it for ever and run it into the ground, or replace it every 2-3 years. You're always going to lose money whatever you do.
I don't agree, it depends if your buying a brand new car..then yeah you will lose cash, but I'd only sell a car if I've seen another one I want %26amp; better, If your pleased with your car then keep it ; )
A new car will lose 25% value the first year. I buy new every 3 years so never have to bother with MOTs.
Can be pricey but do mine every three yrs.
My Astra sixteen hundred going in November
for a Mazda six. Astra not one ten thou yet.
Yes 谋 do, I buyed my car at 2000. I'm using it currently. But I have to say this, when I get some money, I'll certainly shift it. This is relevant money, maybe.
yes definetly , it will save u a lot of cash on repairs , try to upgrade and buy a newer car each time , not nessasarily brand new though , even if it means you have to save a bit for it in the mean time , youll be rewarded with less mechanical hassles.
Then again people get attched to cars and its pretty hard to find something you like , if you have the time to look you should do it for sure.
If you buy new, you'll lose a huge chunk of value the moment you drive off the forecourt. If that's okay with you, frequent changing means you probably never need an MoT, servicing costs will be minimal and with a bit of luck any repairs will be under warranty. You pays your money and you takes your choice.
absolute rubbish! cars can go for 20 + years now, the only reason to change so soon is either to keep up with the joneses or to keep your local garage in business!
